January 7, 2010One of my favorite films of all time, “Stalker“, is going to screen on Saturday, January 23 at 7:30 pm as part of retrospective on the great Russian filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky at LACMA in Los Angeles. It is a science fiction film, but much more of a spiritual journey than a ‘movie’ in the strict sense of the world. The film has a deep, soulful power.
The only available DVD issue of “Stalker” is of extremely low quality so the opportunity to see it on the big screen is not to be missed.
